- Project COOPERANTS presented on the Hannover Messe 2022
- Dr. Caroline Lange from DLR participates for COOPERANTS in panel on the topic: “Innovative and practical applications and data spaces in the digital ecosystem Gaia-X”.
Hannover, May 25, 2022: Digitalization and sustainability are the main topics of this year’s Hannover Messe. COOPERANTS, together with other representatives of the Gaia-X funded projects, presented its project at the joint stand of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK), Hall 2, Stand C34, between May 30 and June 2 and provided insights into their work. At the Gaia-X booth, all interested parties had the opportunity to talk directly with the project managers – they are happy to answer any questions.
“The transparent and secure Gaia-X data ecosystem will drive innovation and transformation across industries and sectors. It supports sustainable business models, for example in industry, the energy sector, healthcare, the construction sector or the maritime sector,” says Dr. Franziska Brantner, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Action. “With Gaia-X, significant technologies are being developed that contribute to the competitiveness of Germany and Europe. Gaia-X is a living ecosystem – and only if as many people as possible participate in this open and democratic infrastructure it can develop its full potential.
For Gaia-X to continue to grow, it needs the commitment of industry. Cooperation pays off.” “The Hannover Messe was an excellent opportunity to show where we stand with Gaia-X in Germany and how it can create added value. Practical applications are the focus of our trade fair presence, because this is how the Gaia-X vision will soon become reality,” says Peter Kraemer of acatech – German Academy of Science and Engineering, head of the Gaia-X Hub Germany and the accompanying scientific research.
COOPERANTS also participated in the panel discussion “Innovative and practical applications and data spaces in the Gaia-X digital ecosystem” on 30th of May. There, it was discussed which added values can be created by the projects from the Gaia-X funding competition of the BMWK, how they develop solutions, what contribution they make to climate protection and how they improve sustainability in supply chains.
