Warsaw, March 11-12: The Data Spaces Symposium 2025 in Warsaw brought together leading experts, companies, and organizations to discuss the latest developments in trustworthy and interoperable data spaces. As a key player in collaborative data spaces, COOPERANTS was present to showcase its solutions for the aerospace industry and engage with international partners.

Key Focus Areas of the Data Spaces Symposium 2025

The symposium featured a wide range of expert presentations, panel discussions, and practical case studies addressing crucial topics in the data economy. The main focus areas included:

  • Interoperability and Standards: Harmonizing data spaces across different industries.
  • Data Sovereignty and Security: The importance of regulatory frameworks such as the EU Data Act and the Data Governance Act (DGA).
  • New Business Models and Innovations: Exploring how companies can leverage data spaces to unlock new value creation opportunities.
  • Practical Examples and Implementation Strategies: Insights from existing data space projects across various sectors.

COOPERANTS & AEROSPACE DIGITAL EXCHANGE

Arno Scheidereiter from neusta aerospace represented the COOPERANTS consortium at the symposium with two dedicated exhibition booths, emphasizing the core principles of developing trustworthy data spaces: collaboration, innovation, and determination. His message was clear: “We’re not just imagining the future of Data Spaces – we’re building it!”

With COOPERANTS, the consortium presented an innovative solution for the aerospace industry, enabling secure and sovereign data exchange. Designed as a Gaia-X Lighthouse Data Space, COOPERANTS serves as a central marketplace for collaborative engineering and fosters digital collaboration within the industry. The symposium highlighted the successful go-live of COOPERANTS and Pontus-X—an important milestone in the digital transformation of the aerospace sector.

In addition, the Aerospace Digital Exchange, a sector-specific data space platform, was introduced. Based on the Gaia-X Digital Clearing House (GXDCH), it ensures the highest standards in data sovereignty, security, and compliance.

Conclusion: COOPERANTS Drives the Future of Trustworthy Data Spaces

The participation in the Data Spaces Symposium 2025 demonstrated that trustworthy and interoperable data spaces play a crucial role in the digital economy of the future. With its solutions, COOPERANTS is making a significant contribution to the development of these ecosystems, creating substantial value for the entire aerospace industry. The insights gained at the symposium will continue to be implemented in practice, driving further advancements in digital collaboration.
