The “European Conference on Spacecraft Structures, Materials and Environmental Testing” (ECSSMET 2024) will take place from September 23 to 27 in Noordwijk, Netherlands, at the ESA ESTEC. The conference aims to promote the exchange of experiences and discussions within the engineering community. Thematically, the conference focuses on structures and structural materials for spacecraft, launchers, and payloads, including their design, development, assembly, integration, verification, and environmental testing.
The event includes plenary and splinter sessions, poster sessions, and technical exhibitions (hardware, software). Additionally, round tables and mini-workshops will be organized to facilitate open discussions on selected topics. The working language of the conference is English.
ECSSMET 2024 offers the opportunity to become part of an international network and establish new collaborations with industry, agencies, and academic institutions.
