In order to be able to develop and finance the technologies of the future, the aviation industry needs, in addition to current sales and orders, above all sufficient skilled workers. And there is no shortage of them: worldwide, 1.3 million new experts will be needed in aviation over the next ten years*.
What does that mean for the northern German community? How do we cover the shortage of skilled workers today and find the personnel of tomorrow? What can aviation learn from other industries when it comes to sustainable approaches to securing skilled labour? The aviation clusters and initiatives of the northern German states will discuss with speakers from aviation and other sectors at the
8th North German Aviation Forum
on Thursday, 09 November 2023
from 13.00 hrs (company tours) or from 15.00 hrs (start of programme)
at the ZAL Center of Applied Aeronautical Research, Hein-Saß-Weg 22, 21129 Hamburg, Germany
and dare to look beyond the horizon.
