2024 was a year that set new standards. For the COOPERANTS project, it was marked by groundbreaking innovations, remarkable milestones, and unforgettable highlights. As an official Gaia-X lighthouse project, we have impressively demonstrated how data spaces and data-driven ecosystems can be successfully built and implemented in practice. Together with our partners and community, we laid the groundwork for interconnected collaboration across industries and innovative smart services of the future.
Innovations Shaping the Future
The foundation of our success in 2024 was laid by our dedicated team with the go-live of the COOPERANTS Data Space Demonstrator (federator.cooperants.info). This year, we unveiled how a marketplace for federated data exchange and data-driven applications operates. Another standout achievement was our active participation in prestigious events, where COOPERANTS reached a wide audience. These platforms provided the opportunity to share our vision of continuous data-based collaboration throughout the engineering lifecycle of aerospace systems. We engaged in discussions with experts and showcased concrete applications of our data-driven technologies, such as program management, requirement engineering, and satellite integration.
Event Highlights: COOPERANTS in the Spotlight
At the WAMS Symposium, we explored the future of advanced manufacturing for aerospace, aviation, and transportation. Beyond theoretical discussions, we demonstrated how data-driven innovations are revolutionizing the industry.
During the Hannover Messe, we showcased the Smart Service HOLOWORK at the Gaia-X collective booth. This hands-on demonstration illustrated how data- and cloud-based applications can optimize real-world processes in spacecraft integration, delivering tangible value for companies.
At the MBSE Workshop 2024, our keynote highlighted the pivotal role of COOPERANTS in model-based systems engineering. The overwhelming response reinforced our direction and commitment.
Another major highlight was the ILA 2024, one of the premier aerospace industry gatherings. Here, we presented the COOPERANTS Data Space at the BMWK collective booth. The enthusiasm of visitors underscored the immense potential of our solutions for the aerospace industry.
COOPERANTS Takes the Stage at Space Tech Expo
At the Space Tech Expo, COOPERANTS reached new heights. Alongside our dedicated booth, we hosted the grand finale of the COOPERANTS Service Competition on a main stage. This competition demonstrated the versatility and effectiveness of data-driven smart services within the COOPERANTS Data Space. One participant enthusiastically remarked, “COOPERANTS technologies are setting new benchmarks for data-driven innovations.”
