COOPERANTS at the accompanying exhibition at the “Tag der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtregionen”
Event´s focus on sustainability, digitalisation and transformation of the aerospace industry
Stuttgart, 13 September 2023: For the 17th time now, experts from the aerospace industry have come together at the “Tag der Deutschen Luft und Raumfahrtregionen” to discuss the industry-specific challenges of the future this year.
After visiting regional companies and institutions such as Trumpf and the Fraunhofer IAO in the morning, the afternoon programme continued with keynotes and panels focusing on “Future.Aviation”, “Future.Space” and “Future.SMEs”. The panels showed that the challenges are technologically different, but that they all face similar challenges on the way to solving them, which can only be solved through the digitalisation of the industry.
In the following, discussions centred on pioneering solutions and innovations from German SMEs for the future of the aerospace industry. The topics ranged from VTOL air taxis to climate-neutral flying, green flying and rocket propulsion technology using hydrogen or even paraffin.
COOPERANTS was able to present itself at the joint stand of the state of Bremen as part of the accompanying exhibition. Other companies from Bremen and representatives of the “U-Space Northwest Germany and German Bight” project presented themselves at the joint Bremen stand. Extensive discussions were held, with small and medium-sized companies showing particular interest.
The event was an excellent platform for dialogue with a wide range of players from the aerospace industry. The many interested enquiries testify to the great interest in the project and underline the importance of the topic of digitalisation in the aerospace industry.
